How it works

Welcome to Recycle4kids.org! Recycle4kids.org focuses on collecting and recycling empty inkjet and toner cartridges. As a participant of this unique fundraising program, our goal is to facilitate your collection efforts with ease and peace of mind. Here is how it works.

TO START-UP YOUR OWN FUNDRASING PROGRAM
  • First, you have to identify your collection efforts as to whether you would want to be a part of “RECYCLE and DONATE” or “RECYCLE and RAISE FUNDS".

RECYCLE and DONATE participants are usually corporate offices and businesses that opted to donate the proceeds of their cartridge recycling-fundraising to a children’s charity of their choice from our pre-selected list. (click here)

RECYCE and RAISE FUNDS participants are usually schools, small offices, churches, and small organizations that wish to raise funds for their own significant cause. Example: basketball uniform, Christmas party, programs in school, funds for missionaries of church. (click here)

  • Once you have chosen which program you would like to join, the next step would be choosing which collection material would best suit your organization. All collection materials are provided at no cost. Please allow between 10-14 days before your collection materials arrive. For the mean time, you can start downloading web banners and printing brochures, flyers, and letters to prepare your students/members /staff for the upcoming recycling-fundraising program.   • Once the bins are full, then it is ready to be shipped back to Recycle4kids.org. Your organization or your chosen charity will be receiving a check through mail after Recycle4kids.org had thoroughly inspected the returned empty cartridges. Each empty cartridge has its corresponding value based on our price list. (See Terms and Conditions for more detailed explanation regarding qualified cartridges)

TO SIMPLY PRINT A SHIPPING LABEL

  • Sending back few cartridges to Recycle4kids.org can still benefit a children’s charity. Just simply sign-up as an individual donor. You will then choose a children’s charity to benefit from your cartridge recycling effort. Print a label and give it to your postal carrier.
  • You may simply want to return those unwanted empty printer cartridge and print a shipping label (click here)

TO INCLUDE A CHILDREN’S CHARITY NOT ON OUR LIST

  • You may add a different children’s charity that is not included in our list, provided that the organization is 501(c)(3) status or a non-profit organization. Fill up the application and provide necessary information for approval (click here). Once your charity has been approved, it will be included in out list where your charity can be chosen, by the participants, as a benefactor of the cartridge recycling program. You will also be given an individual page with more detailed description of your charitable deeds.
